LUMINA
| Just started work on an exciting new project called LUMINA a fantasy webisode series. Finished a rough mix of the trailer with the director Jen Thym today and I must say, It looks great and I'm really looking forward to getting on with it. Johnny Bridges' Party Heavy night last night with my good pal Johnny Bridges. a distant relative of Geoff Bridges! Met Fi dub producer, DJ and post sound guy. Great to meet him and looking forward to great collaborations. He will have a show this weekend Saturday in Sheung Wan.. So come along if you are reading this. I can get some guest list tickets. |

Just finished a short film with Patrice Pojoul. Turned out nice and taught me a lot of things about protocol and dialogue editing. It's a bit like rotoscoping with sound.... boring as hell but, kinda addictive.

These are just some of my little 'bijou travaillettes' for Soundcentric's first production outing.
I'm shooting with Elissa Rosati (Director), Mr Vix (Pegleg Productions), Digger T (Dig Deep Entertainment) on a new project: Y4: The Deathloop. We are producing and shooting a promo pitch package for our illustrious Director to take to Cannes and show it around with a view to creating some interest in the project.
It's a crazy idea, but it might just work!
So, Elissa and I have done the storyboards for the promo and I've started to pre-vis. Would show storyboards but my drawing is like a 2-year-old.... monkey... on crack... with no arms.
This is so I can do the sound design and preview motion graphics before we even have anything shot. Not the most traditional way of working I'm sure... but It might just work.
I've nearly finished and then I'll be editing it all together with some temp graphic design and then.........

A Time for Farewells
Working with an amateur drama troupe here in Honkers on an English play translated into Chinese by my wife.
An intersting project, but it is sucking a lot of time away from me! NUFF SAID.... mustn't grumble

I'm off to Bali on May to research for a Balinese version of William Shakespeare's JC..... Not sure where that idea came from, but there are a lot of very clever people working on it so i guess I'll have to imagine that particular set of 'emperors new clothes'
